About the Journal

Journal of Agroecosystems and Crop Innovation (JACI) is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually (June and December) by PT. Gelora Cipta Nusantara, Indonesia. The journal welcomes the submission of scientific manuscripts written in both Indonesian and English (preferred). This journal will be formally abbreviated as J. Agroecosyst. Crop Innov. in all citations, references, and indexing systems.

Journal of Agroecosystems and Crop Innovation is a scientific journal that publishes original research, conceptual studies, and literature review articles in the field of agroecosystems and crop innovation. The journal's main focus covers the study of agroecosystems as complex agricultural ecological systems, encompassing the interactions between plants, soil, water, climate, weeds, pests and diseases, and the influence of human activities on sustainable agricultural management. Furthermore, the journal also highlights various crop innovations aimed at increasing productivity, quality, and crop resilience through the development of superior varieties, precision cultivation techniques, integrated nutrient management, efficient irrigation systems, the application of agricultural microbiology, management of resistant weeds, integrated pest and disease control, and the use of bioinformatics and digital sensor technology. The journal is committed to supporting the development of agricultural science and technology oriented towards environmental sustainability and food security. The journal provides a dynamic platform for researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to disseminate basic and applied findings that support agricultural sustainability and food security.
